Having too much fun!

Landon is now 14.5 months old and he's just having too much fun in life. Fun with friends and going to the park, seeing family and doing other crazy activities. He now does the motions to "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and to "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and will nod his head "yes" and shake his head "no." Where is the time going? I swear, the next time I blink he will be graduating, going on a mission, and getting married.
Here he is playing with his best buddy Sutton, they're only 2 weeks apart.
Landon with his new friend Micah, watching a show togetherLandon found this really cool Harley trike at a playdate we went to...he could not stop riding it.Riding the fish at the Toyota play park in the mall...he loves that place. We got a kick out of watching him play at Gymboree. He LOVES bubbles and he had fun climbing on and through things all night.
Making his dad proud....SLAM DUNK!!!
Playing in the little fort that he and mommy created. He didn't like it at first, but then I showed him how to crawl into it and he wouldn't come out for like an hour.
Playing "ghost" with the table cloths after Aunt Krystal's wedding reception.
With Aunt Krystal and Uncle Steve
Playing at the park near our house
Visiting the Easter Bunny at Bellevue Square last week. He was kind of scared at first, but then he kept wanting to go back and look at him.
Trying on Daddy's shoes...those sure are big shoes to fill.

Little Bowl of Knowledge

So Landon is almost 14 months now...and I am starting to realize how quick he is at learning things. It used to be that I had to repeat myself over and over again for him to catch on, but now he seems to get it after the first time I tell him (except for when he's not supposed to do something, he's a pretty strong-willed child....I have no idea where he gets that from ;)). For instance, when we go to the park, he sometimes falls down, wait no, he always falls down in the bark chips and looks at his hands and then looks at me so that I'll come over and pick him up and brush the dirt off his hands and clothes. But just the other day I decided to teach him how to brush it off by kind of clapping and wiping his hands together. Its so cute cause now he does that every time. He still looks at me after he falls but I just say "Brush it off, brush it off" and then he does the hand motions and then goes off and plays some more. We took him to the play park at the Supermall on Saturday and he wasn't too sure about it at first. There were sooooo many kids and there were definitely some that were too big to be playing in there. He had so much fun though after he figured out that most of the toys were slides and that all he had to do was turn himself around or skoot himself to the edge. He just went crazy running around and going down the slides over and over again. It was great to see him having so much fun. On top of the stuff that he knows from my previous blog, he also now knows "arms up", "arms down", "arms out", "baby", "eyes", "nose", "ears", "mouth", "clap", "cat", "dog", "kiss", "mommy", "daddy", "Landon", "tummy", "tiger", "elephant", "wave", "hi", "bye"....He can't say these words quite yet but the way we know that he knows these words is because we ask him "where's your mouth?" and he'll point to it....or we show him the word and he points to the corresponding object. He also knows how to say "thank you" in sign language too. Gosh he is growing up way too fast.
