5 Months!!!

Landon is 5 months old today. Wow, I can't believe how time flies. He's starting to look like a little boy and not so much a baby anymore :( He's such a sweetheart I love him more than anything! He's loving his jumperoo as you can see in the video.

Landon went to his 2nd Mariners game on Saturday. He cried again every time the crowd cheered. We went over to Ben's parent's house for Father's Day. Landon was so sweet all day and got worn out. We're getting ready to go to Charlotte, NC this Sunday to visit my side of the family for two weeks. We are so excited, except for the plane ride. I'm not very excited about that. I have to travel by myself with Landon because Ben won't be coming. I'll be sure to post an entry after we get back.

Peas

Landon tried Gerber peas tonight for the first time. It was so funny to watch him eat the mush. He quivered and made such a funny face every time I put a small spoon full of peas in his mouth. He did a pretty good job though of eating them and not spitting them back out. I think they kind of upset his tummy though because about five minutes after he started crying like he had gas and then suddenly he held his breath and let out a big scream which scared the crap out of me. He got so tired, so we just put him to sleep right afterward. He's been such a goofball lately and has been fighting going to sleep. It's been tough because we got to where we could just leave him in his crib and he would fall asleep on his own...but we went to the doctor and she said that his head was mildly flat...so we have to lay him on his side and he won't stay on his side unless we swaddle him. So now we've been having to swaddle him, sing and rock him to sleep, and then lay him on his side. I hope he'll be able to go back to what we were doing before once his head rounds out a little bit. We'll see.

Busy Month Of May

Sorry we have been pretty busy this last month. I celebrated my 26th birthday on May 7th. I also celebrated my first Mother's Day with my to favorite boys (Ben and Landon) at Outback Steakhouse that weekend.

The following weekend we went to Lake Tapps beach here in Auburn. It was gorgeous!

Landon loved being outside at the beach. He was happy the entire time even though it was over 80 degrees outside.First time dipping his feet in the lake. He didn't like it too much because it was freezing! I don't blame him ;)

Then we had fun Memorial Day weekend. We went to the Old Cannery in Sumner and got western pictures taken. They were having a sale and had hot dogs and pop and pictures and face painting. It was really a lot of fun. We wanted to show Landon all the trains, but we didn't make it that far because he blew out his diaper and we had to go home. Typical ;)

The past couple of months I've also been going on walks almost 4 times a day...this was all in order to get back into my cheer uniform. Issaquah High School was having a commemorative night because they are tearing down the highschool and building a new one and asked all the alumni cheerleaders to come do the fight song in their uniforms. I managed to get back into it. I was pretty proud of myself :)
